Volunteer Centres

Find your nearest volunteer centre.

Volunteer Centres (sometimes known as volunteer bureaux or volunteer development agencies) provide support at a local level for individual volunteers and volunteer involving organisations.

They have six core functions:

  • brokerage
  • marketing volunteering
  • good practice and development
  • developing volunteering opportunities
  • policy response and campaigning
  • strategic development of volunteering.
