Volunteering for Active Communities (V4AC): funded by the Welsh Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA), ContinYou Cymru is piloting a three year project (April 2007-June 2010) to accredit adults who are volunteering to deliver out-of-school-hours learning activities.
Bike Club in Wales: is funded by ASDA and uses cycling-based activities to improve participation in cycling, increase physical activity levels, improve health, encourage learning and build social inclusion for all participants, regardless of background, income or ethnicity. Bike Club (www.bikeclub.org.uk) is also being developed in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Young Leaders for Active Communities: a feasibility study which looked at the potential for developing a range of volunteering opportunities through taking part in a young leaders programme, and linking with out-of-school-hours learning (oshl) and community focused schools (CFS) developments.
Cymru Cooks was a highly successful Welsh Assembly funded project to support the development of cookery clubs with children, young people and their communities. ContinYou Cymru delivered bespoke Cymru Cooks training sessions within each of the 22 local authorities across Wales between 2007 and 2009.
